Greetings and Bread

Hi fitfam, my name is Bartholomew–I mean my name is Quan, and I just looked up how to spell “Bartholomew” because I forgot how to spell it. Also, who cares if it’s spelled correctly or not, science and math trumps all says the Clemson University biomedical engineering major (wow that’s a mouthful).

In fact, this may be entirely shocking to you, but I care if “Bartholomew” is spelled right or not. I am what they say, a Grammar and Spelling Nazi. The proof can be found on my Instagram page: @__quanle__ where I point out and shame people’s mistakes of incorrectly assembling the elements of the English lexicon in readable and meaningful ways (no known tears were caused from these moments of shaming).

My IG page has a lot of douchebaggery. From pictures of me flexing my guts out, and trying not to have a reason to buy adult diapers, to me posting about school on my stories, there is always a purpose of the shenanigans. And that my friends, is to help people with their fitness goals. To me, that help doesn’t have to always be a workout routine or nutrition advice. I help people in a variety of ways. Ranging from teaching proper strength programming, to demonstrating results won’t show up in a week, I like to use myself as an example for people trying to incorporate fitness into their lives.

And that is what I plan to do on here as well through the medium of writing. I’ve been loving the process of writing my captions on Instagram lately. If you scroll back, there are two poems that I’m really proud of, and of course some sappy stuff as well where I pour my heart out lol.

So yeah… Yup.
